Welcoming in the New Year, we’re welcoming in a fresh approach to
our blog in 2014. Our New Year's resolution is to give you more of what you need and give you the inside scoop on all things Mollini. Last year was an amazing year
for the Mollini team on so many levels and we just wanted to share a review of what was 2013.
Recapping the highlights of the past year is the best way for anyone to re-invent
themselves for the New Year and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Here are just
some of the exciting things that happened for Mollini in 2013.
In September, we shot our SS13 campaign, which was inspired by
modern femininity with the representation of flowers for the summer. Melbourne-based
photographer Steve Pinirou worked his magic behind the lens capturing our
beautiful model Mary Vitinaros from Giant Management.
In October, friend and talented designer from Et Al Melbourne,
Anthony Capon showcased his all black collection for Fashion Pallet Spring 14
at New York Fashion Week. It was an exciting time for everyone and Mollini’s
Minna heel was chosen to walk the runway complimenting Capon’s finest work. His
signature aesthetic of modern tailoring and monochromatic pieces dominated the
runway.
October kept the ball rolling for runway shows and Mollini, as one of Australia’s established and finest couture designers, Craig Braybrook featured our Allan heel for his SS13 collection. His beautiful delicate lace gowns, accentuating the feminine silhouette graced the runway with elegance.
This past year brought us lots of metallic, holographic
everything, flatforms emerged and the classics remained. Our top 3 best sellers
for Mollini were the Masimo, Marsy and Galosh.
Masimo was the top pick for obvious reasons. Italian made with a platform heel and leather upper - you can't go wrong teaming these up with denim or a great maxi skirt.
Next on the list is the Marsy, a mid wedge with ankle strap available in 13 colours and is the ultimate staple piece. Great for everyday wear and those after work ocassions.

That's a wrap on our top 3 moments and best sellers in review for you and we can’t
wait to share some more Mollini moments with you all and give you more of an
insight to the world of Mollini.
